Reynaers unveils new MasterLine 8 variants

01 August 2020

Leading European aluminium systems provider Reynaers has launched new variants of its MasterLine 8 entrance doors, namely the residential door, the ML8 XL and Landscape.

The MasterLine 8 pivot doors can be used in various applications, thanks to their slim profile design, ability to accommodate heights up to 4 m in the XL variant, virtually unlimited multi-leaf configurations in the ‘Landscape’ variant, or the ‘Residential’ door with burglar resistance of Class 2 and excellent weather-sealing performances, according to Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office for the European aluminium systems provider.

“The new versatile solution, which allows the use of virtually unlimited amount of door leaves up to 4 m tall, makes an architectural statement in residential and public buildings,” he says.

“The MasterLine 8 series has been delivering maximum comfort and security for the user, while allowing ample architectural freedom with numerous design variants and scoring high on energy-efficiency,” Khalaf adds.

“The series offers a wide range of highly insulated doors, meeting the modern requirements for safety, thermal insulation and stability, allowing the creation of large entrance doors.  These are available as inward and outward opening glass or panel doors and pivoting doors.”

The new MasterLine 8 pivot doors are a versatile solution thanks to their air- and water-tight and high insulating nature, in addition to the incorporation of a door closer and damper.

In the new products, Khalaf says Reynaers has done the unthinkable – combining the oversized dimensions and slim sight lines in a thermally insulated aluminium system that offers zero threshold access.

Its open platform extends the freedom of choice for glass.  The doors have been tested to ensure their weather performances to US and European standards.

The basic model for residential applications measures 1.7 by 3 m and supports a weight of up to 200 kg. It features a changeover profile and coordinated locking.

The MasterLine 8 XL model, designed as high-end residential or terrace doors, measures a maximum of 2.5 by 4 m and weighs 500 kg and has slim side profile lines of ±40 mm. It has a motorised locking system.

The other new MasterLine 8 variant Landscape combines multiple versions of the XL door, featuring multi-leaf configurations for a maximum outdoor living experience. These doors can be used for convention centres, stadiums and private terraces.

Landscape doors can have unlimited number of door leaves measuring up to 2.5 by 4 m per leaf and weighing up to 500 kg.

The doors feature a symmetrical or alternating configuration with manual locking and fixing in the opening position. All vents are handle operated.

In line with demands for minimal sight lines, the Landscape variant features a slim ZT meeting section of less than 155 mm and the frames can be fully concealed since there is no changeover profile.

Various installation threshold options are available for these doors which include direct installation into floor, bottom profile installation and installation with bottom profile and gutter.
