Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the Belgian aluminium systems provider, has announced the recent completion of Awtad Residential Tower located near the eastern coast of Kuwait, south of the capital.
The elegant building, which occupies a 7,000-sq-m site in the Al Mahboula District of Ahmadi Governorate, comprises 256 residential apartments on 18 floors, in addition to 2,500 sq m of commercial space on two floors.
For the Awtad Residential Tower, the Bahrain-based Reynaers Middle East supplied its latest CW50-SC aluminium curtain-wall and roof application systems, which are said to provide unlimited design freedom while allowing optimal daylighting within the building.
“Reynaers’ CW50-SC meets the most important requirements of modern architecture, combining aesthetics and quality,” said Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of Reynaers Middle East. “CW50-SC provides innovative solutions for buildings by accommodating large and heavyweight glass panels and seamlessly integrating custom openings, such as windows with parallel vents, skylights, pivoting windows, and more.”
The system is available in several design options and shapes to create glass and steel façades, in addition to meeting stringent specifications with regard to fire and burglary resistance and thermal insulation. The CW50-SC has been specially developed for ease of fabrication and installation. It allows easy and individually installed and replaced glass panels, and facilitates alignment of doors in the façade.
For the project, Reynaers Middle East also supplied the Concept System 59 Parallel (CS59-Pa) aluminium door system which gives buildings a stylish look. This system provides one of the most durable aluminium solutions, and hence is highly suitable for outdoor use, while also used to divide and separate office spaces in interiors. The CS59-Pa system is available for the interior and exterior vents of windows and doors.
The Awtad Residential Tower is an important addition to Reynaers Middle East’s portfolio of numerous important and luxurious projects that feature its latest high quality aluminium systems and solutions.
“Our participation in the Awtad Residence Towers project comes as part of our relentless endeavour to enhance our leading position as one of the most important companies in the field of aluminium solutions in the region, especially in Kuwait, which is considered a promising and important market in the Middle East. Kuwait is witnessing an architectural renaissance at various levels, be it residential, office, commercial and industrial buildings,” Khalaf commented.
Reynaers Middle East partnered with Deira Engineering Consultants and Kuwaiti Ahli Aluminium Manufacturing Company for the project.
“This cooperation has resulted in the unique and modern design of the tower that incorporates high quality and distinctive Reynaers aluminium solutions. We look forward to completing a number of such projects in the region, in cooperation with our partners and clients, with the aim of contributing to the architectural renaissance of the Middle East and North Africa,” added Khalaf.
