The Fitout, one of the leading providers of total interior solutions in the UAE, has completed work on a key pavilion at the Expo 2020 site in addition to 10 stores and multiple restaurants within a short span of three to four months, weeks ahead of the opening the mega event on October 1.
In addition, the firm has also provided the complete fit-out services to luxury landmark SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences.
The Fitout provided interior solutions for the Mobility Pavilion, named Alif, one of the thematic pavilions at the Expo that showcases mobility’s role in human progress; Zoom, the UAE’s leading operator of convenience stores whose outlets are located in all districts and the arrival plaza of the Expo site; a luxurious indoor cafe; and popular food halls.
The Fitout delivered the manufacturing, fit-out contracting, design and build, and project management services for these projects.
General Manager Sherif Nagy says: “In all our projects, we have been consistently exceeding the expectations of our clients. We credit this to our unique operating model and the dedication of our experienced design and management teams. These factors – combined with our ability to manage time, cost, and quality – give us an edge over our competitors and, for the Expo, have allowed us to finish the fit-out works required by our clients within a short period.”
Nagy says the group had applied extra care in delivering the projects, recognising that the Expo was a once-in-a-lifetime event not only for its clients but for the entire UAE as well.
“From design to execution to delivery and completion, every stage of our efforts was done in compliance with internationally recognised benchmarks,” observes Nagy.
Meanwhile, The Fitout provided world-class interior solutions for the complete fit-out of more than 630 rooms at the luxury landmark SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences in six months.
The company was awarded the contract in 2019 to provide SLS Dubai with best-in-class services such as fit-out, joinery, customised items, headboards, doors, and architectural finishes. Considered as one of The Fitout’s high-profile undertakings in Dubai, the project has a total built-up area of around 180,000 sq m.
Nagy comments: “SLS Dubai can rely on the quality of our finished works because we fulfilled the hotel’s requirements according to the highest industry standards. Meeting globally recognised benchmarks is a norm in our organisation and results in the satisfaction of our clients across various sectors, including the hospitality industry. The completion of this project illustrates our commitment to provide high-end and bespoke joinery and fit-out works in the UAE and the region. Through this initiative, we have become part of SLS Dubai’s efforts to extend the best experience and most memorable stay to its guests.
“The excellent completion of the projects points to our team’s dedication to extend distinguished services that set new parameters of excellence. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, our manufacturing and production facilities allow us to ensure quality finishes that meet, if not surpass, expectations.”
