01 July 2022

Diyar Al Muharraq, a leading Bahrain-based real estate development company, has started work on the second phase of a major gated community featuring more than 300 villas for sale on freehold ownership within the integrated residential city in the kingdom.

Construction on Phase Two of Al Naseem development began this April in collaboration with Ahmed Omer Trading & Contracting.

Al Naseem spreads over 328,000 sq m, with 5 km of seafront views overlooking the inner and outer canal. Its villas comprise three- to four-bedroom units that have direct access to the water canals as well as a private pool and an on-demand elevator, stated the Bahraini developer.

On completion, the second phase will add more than 110 luxury villas spanning 305 to 384 sq m. The project will include six types of villas and is scheduled for completion during the Q4 of 2023, it added.

Commenting on the occasion, CEO Engineer Ahmed Ali Alammadi said: "We are pleased to launch Phase Two of construction on Al Naseem, which offers residents with optimal surroundings, luxury villas, integrated facilities and breathtaking views of the city’s main canal. Al Naseem is one of our most distinct projects, offering the first gated community in Diyar Al Muharraq."

Among other developments, Diyar Al Muharraq has announced the completion of electrical installations and special extension works on the commercial villa plots located in the north-east of Deerat Al Oyoun.

The Bahraini developer had commissioned Castillo Trading & Construction to build power substations and extend cables  to the plots, and appointed Mott MacDonald as the primary consultant to provide engineering advice and oversee the works.

Following the completion of the electrical works, all infrastructure services for the project are currently available, enabling plot owners and developers to start constructing their spaces and commence commercial operations, it stated.

Alammadi said: "These plots are ideal for setting up a diverse range of establishments including beauty salons, spas, fitness centres, health clinics, retail stores, entertainment centres, änd businesses that can benefit from a location in a vibrant neighbourhood.”
