Swiss sanitary solutions provider Geberit offers a vast range of products that can be used to give a new look to bathrooms – right from sanitary modules that can hide unattractive cisterns to rimless WCs and odour extraction or orientation light systems.

Swiss sanitary solutions provider Geberit says its innovative products can provide ideal solutions for upgrading bathrooms, meeting personal requirements in terms of comfort, equipment and aesthetics.
“When bathrooms and toilets are getting on in years, many owners are keen to modernise them. Upgrades can bring about significant improvements around the toilet with little effort,” says Louise Pitt, Marketing and CRM Manager, Geberit International Sales.
For instance, Geberit’s Monolith sanitary module provides an elegant alternative to the unattractive cistern that is mounted visibly in front of the wall, which is a dust catcher and difficult to clean thoroughly around.
The Monolith sanitary module is simply mounted on the existing connections. The cistern and connections disappear under a cover, which is available in various colours, such as glass, stoneware and aluminium. The Monolith with a modern dual flush is compatible with almost all WC ceramics.
“The Monolith Plus variant offers a special added value for the new bathroom. It is equipped with an odour extraction system that sucks unpleasant odours directly out of the WC ceramics, as well as an orientation light with discreet LED illumination. The gentle light beam is activated by close-range detection and illuminates in one of seven individually selectable colours. The flush can be triggered with the soft-touch button. The prerequisites for connecting a shower toilet and the associated power connection are also met, and unsightly supply lines can be concealed. If desired, glass surfaces of the sanitary module can be individually printed with your own motifs,” she says.
More freshness
If a concealed cistern is already present in the bathroom, new accents can easily be set by replacing the flush actuator plate with Geberit’s Sigma and Omega models. These are available in a wide range of design variants in harmonious round or geometrically clear shapes to match any bathroom style. The choice of surfaces, trendy colours and materials is also greater than ever.
“As an option, the Geberit DuoFresh odour extraction system can be installed in all concealed cisterns in the Sigma range and is compatible with the actuator plates Sigma01 to Sigma50. In this case, the unpleasant odours are extracted directly in the ceramic, neutralised and the purified air is returned to the bathroom. Together with an insert for cistern stones that release cleaning and fragrance substances into the flushing water, they bring noticeably more freshness into the bathroom,” Pitt explains.
Another innovation, the Geberit ONE WC offers a clever and modern solution for more cleanliness and comfort. The rimless WC ceramic with the patented TurboFlush flush technology makes cleaning considerably easier, she says. During flushing, the water flows in from the side, moves in a spiral through the asymmetrical inner geometry of the ceramic and flushes it out quietly and thoroughly. In addition, the height of the Geberit ONE WC can be adjusted without great effort, for example when it becomes more difficult to stand up in old age.
Shower toilet
If a power connection is available in the bathroom, shower toilets such as the Geberit AquaClean can also be easily retrofitted to noticeably improve intimate hygiene.
“The patented WhirlSpray shower technology cleans the intimate area specifically and thoroughly with low water consumption. Air is added to the rotating water jet, which causes air bubbles to form,” she adds.
To enhance the aesthetics and comfort, Geberit offers its AquaClean Sela which boasts a clear design, and its AquaClean Mera Comfort, which has additional comfort functions such as a warm air dryer, odour extraction, seat heating or orientation light. Both shower toilet models are also equipped with TurboFlush flush technology and thus ensure all-round more modern comfort in the toilet.
