Saudi Build 2022 has the patronage of HE Majid Al-Hogail, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, says Mohammed Al Hussaini, CEO, Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC), the organiser of the event.
Among the sectors covered by Saudi Build are construction and building materials; construction technologies and services; interior design and finishing; heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC); stone industry and technology; and plant, heavy machinery and vehicles (PMV).
The event comes at an opportune time for the Saudi construction sector which is looking to procure products and services for the numerous giga and mega projects which are now poised to take shape around the kingdom. In line with Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in infrastructure, and construction of ports, railways, airports, and roads to enhance the kingdom’s interconnectivity and facilitate the flow of raw materials and human resources.
“This exhibition comes at a time when the Saudi construction sector is witnessing significant growth. With more than 5,000 construction projects planned in the kingdom for this year alone, Saudi Build 2022 will be an ideal platform for the local and global construction community to build partnerships and explore the huge opportunities offered by the construction sector in the country,” adds Al Hussaini.
The gold sponsors of the event include Saudi Ceramic, Milano Concetto, Gold Art, Oil Sustainability Program, and Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA). The exhibition is held concurrently with Saudi Stone Tech, Saudi Build PMV Series, and Saudi Elenex, making it a unique dedicated construction sector platform that will provide opportunities and business prospects for investors who are eager to enter the Saudi market.
“Saudi Build 2022 will display innovative building technologies and solutions, inspiring advancement in the building sector, and will feature state-of-the-art technologies in the field of materials science. We look forward to welcoming local, regional, and international companies who will undoubtedly take advantage of the 32nd edition of the event to network with industry influencers, decision-makers, and professionals to drive their business development and growth prospects in the kingdom’s rapidly expanding construction sector,” concludes Al Hussaini.
Saudi Build 2022 is being held after a gap of three years due the Covid-19 pandemic. The previous edition attracted 520 exhibitors from 34 countries and hosted nine country pavilions.
REC has been successfully serving the Saudi exhibitions market for more than 39 years and all its international events are certified by UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry.
