Paschal buoyed on bauma success
Following its outstanding success at the world’s largest construction machinery trade fair, Paschal continues to showcase its comprehensive product range at its virtual exhibition stand. The German formwork specialist says its NeoR lightweight and other innovative solutions were particularly popular at bauma.

Leading German formwork specialist Paschal says its latest innovations such as the NeoR lightweight formwork as well as the first-of-their kind formwork features it has introduced attracted keen interest among the thousands of visitors at the recent bauma 2022, the largest construction machinery trade fair in the world.
Following its highly successful participation at bauma 2022, which was held in Munich, Germany, at the end of October, Paschal continues to showcase its comprehensive product range at its virtual exhibition stand.
“The virtual exhibition, accessed at www.paschal-digital.com, enables users to interact directly with Paschal experts in a live chat and using the contact form,” says Amir Delghandi, General Director of the Bahrain-based Paschal Concrete Forms, the German manufacturer’s regional office.
Among its products showcased at bauma, NeoR lightweight formwork – which combines the best properties of the tried-and-tested Logo.3 and modular/GE universal formwork systems with those of modern lightweight formwork – attracted a lot of attention, he says.

“With a maximum weight of only 41.3 kg for the 90 x 150 cm panel, it can be assembled or moved by two people and the smaller panel dimensions make it easy to manually assemble or move on the construction site without the use of cranes or other transport aids,” he says.
The focus was also on brand new features in the formwork sector that make work even more efficient, Delghandi adds.
“For instance, three new, lightweight system parts for the multi-waler 140 enable you to work on inclined formwork with straight working platforms and to use them as a lightweight, modular supporting jack.
“Also, with the new polygonal filler posts for Logo and NeoR, the two formwork systems can now also be used for forming ‘precurved’ walls and wall sections. This means that polygonal curves can be realised quickly and cost-effectively,” he explains.
There were additional highlights to be found in the digital area, including Paschal Maturix for intelligent concrete monitoring, as well as the innovative virtual reality area, where visitors equipped with VR goggles and controllers could immerse themselves in a digital construction site.
He adds that Paschal is pleased with how well the bauma fair went and the demand for its formwork and support systems. The show attracted nearly 500,000 international visitors and approximately 3,200 exhibitors this year.
