Buoyed by the response it received during previous Big 5 events, the Saudi-based United Insulations Company (UIC) will be returning to the show in Dubai this year to showcase its diverse portfolio of high-quality low-density polyethylene (LDPE) foam products.
“We have exhibited at Big 5 events over a number of years and the response has always been good,” Mamdouh Alsourayia, General Manager of UIC, tells Gulf Construction.
“UIC has been an industry leader in low-density polyethylene foam products for more than 10 years by building partnerships with our clients and offering them various products, innovative solutions and top-quality services,” he adds.
United Insulations Company is specialised in the manufacture and supply of LDPE foam products. Its diverse portfolio includes carpet underlay, packing sheets, parquet underlay, protection boards, hanger insulation, backer rods and expansion joints.
“UIC is committed to international standards and has International Accreditation Service (IAS), International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and Saudi Made certification,” says Alsourayia.
The company exports to all the GCC countries, as well as further afield, including to Jordan, Somalia, Tanzania and Malta, through its trading partners in these regions. Some 35 per cent of its output is exported, and its most popular products are carpet underlays, packing sheets and parquet underlays, according to Alsourayia.
Its carpet underlay extends flooring life, absorbs water, and serves as a shock absorber as well as a heat/cold insulator. It is easy to use and environmentally safe while its hanger insulation products provide effective insulation against heat and cold and are water resistant, absorb shocks, easy to use and environmentally safe.
UIC’s closed-cell polyethylene foam products used as an expansion joint or space filler for wall joints, floor joints and constructions are high durable, easy to handle, resistant to oils, solvents, and acids, recyclable and available in a huge range of sizes, says the company.
Given the demand for its products, UIC is currently studying the feasibility of expanding its capacity and customised products.
