AT bauma, Kaeser Kompressoren GmbH will introduce its Mobilair 121, a portable compressor that is said to feature "particularly economical and environmentally friendly concepts".

"The machine covers the standard pressure range of 7.5 to 13 bar and delivers 11.5 cu m/min at 7.5 bar. Compressor drive is from a water-cooled, turbo-charged diesel engine with intercooler that fulfils the most stringent emission standards anticipated," says a company spokesman. "Furthermore, the package regulating system ensures optimum fuel economy. Optional additional equipment includes air treatment devices or a 12 kVA three-phase generator to make the M 121, a flexible energy source for the construction site."

Kaeser will present a colourful row of Mobilair 121 compressors on the upper floor of the exhibition pavilion. Construction companies and plant hire firms can now order portable compressors in their house colours.
