Desert Roofing was responsible for waterproofing all the concrete roofs, the sloped parapet and wet areas of the Sharjah City Centre, involving a total area of 8,000 sq m.
"The project ran smoothly, particularly because of the excellent co-operation we have enjoyed with the consultant, main contractor and all subcontractors associated with our work," says a spokesman for the Dubai-based company.
"The roof areas were very complex due to the large number of roof mountings, however, once again due to excellent organising and co-ordination from the main contractor, Al Habtoor - Murray Robert JV, our area of responsibility was executed on time and to the satisfaction of all concerned.
