Caterpillar plans to showcase the new EU Stage II-compiant machines at an upcoming exhibition in Italy.

Samoter 2002, the 25th international earthmoving and building machinery exhibition, is to be held from February 17 to 22 in the city of Verona.

Caterpillar will be using Samoter 2002 to display over 35 models from its extensive product line and this will include the first models in the 300C family of excavators, a 345B Series II ultra-high demolition excavator and two of the new mid-sized wheel loaders.

Other exhibits will include a 988G wheel loader equipped with block-handling forks, new skid steer and backhoe loaders and models from the new range of Stage II/Tier 2 emissions-compliant Cat industrial engines.
