Major players form strategic alliance

Mannai Corporation of Qatar and Worley of Australia have formed a strategic alliance that is expected to dramatically enhance the capabilities of both companies in the oil and gas industry.
''The mutually beneficial coalition of the extensive construction and service capabilities of Mannai's Industrial Group, specifically Mideast Constructors (Mecon) and Mannai Marine, and Australian-owned Worley's global renown as a leading design and engineering company, offers clients a unique combination of local experience and international expertise,'' says a Mannai spokesman.
