Stone fair to be held in Dubai

The Arabian Stone Fair, the third international exhibition of marble, granite and ornamental stone & of Machinery Equipment for Stone Processing, is set to be staged in Dubai, UAE, next month.
The specialised exhibition will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 16 to 19.
The event will spread over an area of 7,920 sq m in Halls Six and Seven displaying a diverse range of marble, granite, and stone in general, abrasives for diamond stone-cutting tools, machinery and other equipment for the stone industry. On show will be wall, ceiling and floor tiles, cladding materials and other related products and services.
Last year the event attracted 3,800 visitors, with 62 per cent of them coming from the Arab countries.
''Arabian Stone Fair is unquestionably the best possible gateway for making new contacts and meeting construction firms, dealers and traders who need to buy the latest products and state-of-the-art technology for marble and stone sector,'' says a spokesman for Assciazione Italiana Marmomacchine, which is organising the event in cooperation with Fairsystem International Exhibition Services and Channels Exhibition (on-site organiser).
