Pioneer Alwan guarantees a quality job

Gulf Polyester and Epoxy Powder Coating Factory, which trades under the Alwan brand, says it was the first company to manufacture thermosetting powders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company was established in 1993 under licences of Oxyplast of Belgium, one of the pioneers in the industry for architectural and decorative powder finishes, and BASF of Germany, for functional epoxy coatings for both the rebar and pipe manufacturing industry.

"Alwan operates from a modern, well-equipped fully air-conditioned factory in Riyadh's Second Industrial City," says a company spokesman.

He continues: "Alwan is also fully equipped with advanced bonding process technology for speciality colours, to offer a wide range of metallic finishes for prestigious projects.

"With a dedicated and experienced team of on-site technicians and full factory back-up and a complete technical library, the success of any project that Alwan undertakes is assured."

The quality and technical expertise of Alwan's operations has resulted in the company achieving both the prestigious and ISO 9001 and Qualicoat certification, he adds.

A continuous programme of technical developments for future requirements of customer product specifications is an essential part of Alwan's growth and strategy, the spokesman adds.

Alwan has its head office and factory in Riyadh and a branch offices with warehouses in Jeddah and Dammam.

Overseas, company also has a branch office and warehouse in Sharjah, UAE.
