Saudi-based Al Nafea Trading Establishment plans to introduce a new vinyl flooring to its growing list of flooring materials at SaudiBuild 2003.
The new Solsilence vinyl flooring, which will be promoted at Stand 954, will make a difference to the flooring tile segment in the region, according to general manager Abdul Rahman Al Nafea.
The company has already added four new lines to its portfolio in the earlier part of the year, and is quite positive of a favourable market reaction to the launch, he says.
The company, which was established in 1979, has grown over the decades to employ 150 personnel and has posted a healthy turnover of more than $6 million.
The 100 per cent Saudi-owned Al Nafea has offices at Dammam, Jeddah and Sharjah and has plans to grow into a leading supplier of quality products in the region. According to the company, several thousand linear metres of office partitions have already been installed for various projects in the Kingdom.
The company's product line includes demountable office and toilet partition systems (Clips, Norwood and Aquaroc), British carpet tiles (Burtamex), French vinyl tiles (Buflon), raised flooring systems (Netfloor), ceiling tiles, glass, vinyl wallpaper and glass blocks.
The Buflon vinyl roll-type floor coverings, introduced in the market recently, is anti-bacterial and highly hygienic and can be used in a variety of applications that require a high degree of hygiene. It is being used in hospitals, day-care centres, schools, gymnasiums and similar places where the aspects of safety and durability are a pre-requisite.
Earlier in the year, Al Nafea launched Proteus contract carpet tiles, Corail 13 mm-thick toilet partitions, which are waterproof and backed by a two-year warranty, along with glass blocks and accessories for glass installations.
The company has also been doing brisk business in the office partition segment and has completed several projects including the main entrance lobby at the Saudi Electric Company's head office, National Instalment's new head office in Riyadh and the 13-floor project at the Ministry of Finance (Dewan Al Mathem) Saudi Arabia.
