Leading supplier of building materials Carl Stahl of Germany will present itself at this month's Big 5 show to promote a range of innovative products in stainless steel including cables with fittings and accessories (I-SYS), meshes (X-Tend), cable suspension system (PosiLock), furniture (Cable Concept) and lifting equipment.

The enquiries and purchase orders received by the company, and the interest shown by the market for its products, following its participation at the previous shows, is said to have enthused the Dubai office of Carl Stahl to introduce its products and services this time around. Carl Stahl will feature its products and services at stand 6A310.

Established in 1880, in Sussen (Germany), Carl Stahl is considered a leading manufacturer of wire ropes and lifting technology, with approximately 40 locations servicing customers around the world. The company has won awards for its I-SYS Inox Systems and X-Tend 2 and has also earned double honours, at Germany's Bautec 2002 event.

The company has a workshop in Dubai - Carl Stahl Lifting Equipment Industries - that specialises in assembling lifting equipments and undertaking inspection works. Carl Stahl has over 640 employees on its rolls and has achieved a turnover of $135 million (2001 figures).

Elaborating on the products of the company, Saab says: 'I - SYS, is an innovative and creative stainless steel cable system that enjoys an outstanding image for bridge building, balustrading, architecture, lifting, structural and tensile applications, landscaping, decoration, interior design, sky frames and green facades.
