Jotun Paints, a leading manufacturer of protective paints and marine coatings, has announced several new innovative products being introduced in the region at a product launch in Abu Dhabi.
One of the biggest industrial product launches for Jotun in recent years, it will also feature a conference as part of a global strategy for the company to retain reliable standards worldwide, says a company spokesman.
The event saw Jotun introduce six new products and one entirely new concept for the industry. In excess of 40 sales managers from throughout the Middle East region had been invited to the conference in Abu Dhabi and were given detailed information about the product by international product ambassadors, who had been flown in to offer detailed information about the product benefits.
“Jotun Paints has implemented this global launch strategy to ensure that each market has consistent information about the new products,” says regional brand manager Venkat Krishnan. “As a market leader it is vitally important to provide our customers with dependable, accurate information, particularly in the industrial sector where regional legislation for marine coatings and such like may vary.”
The new products include Jotamastic Smart Pack, SeaForce Antifouling, Hardtop PSO, Hardtop Flexi and Tankcoating, along with the re-launch of Baltoflake and Waterfine.
“All these products are designed for the protective and marine sector and are considered to be extremely advanced in terms of current market offerings. The products have been in development over the last three years where they have undergone extensive research and development before being approved by several independent laboratories around the world.
“The standard of these products really is groundbreaking. Currently there is nothing in the market that can compare. We are anticipating that there will be a huge demand for the new coatings throughout the region,” Krishnan adds.
