Fortune International – LG’s representative for central air conditioners in Dubai and the Northern Emirates – is working hand in hand with the Al Basti and Muktha (ABM) Group, supplying these products to several of the group’s projects.
“We are a young and dynamic company in the UAE’s engineering product suppliers market,” says Numair Sami Alamdar, marketing manager of Fortune International. “In a short span of time, Fortune has grown at a rapid pace, capitalising on the UAE’s buoyant economy and booming construction sector. We are looking forward to continue working with ABM and add more projects to our portfolio.”
“Our strength can be attributed to a dedicated team, a high level of commitment to the market requirements and our ability to adopt the right managerial policies,” he says.
Fortune, which is associated with a number of prestigious projects in Dubai, has successfully completed jobs at various Emaar properties including Meadows, Lakes, Arabian Ranches, Emirates Hills and Springs.
“LG and Fortune have grown together at an astonishing pace in the UAE. Currently, we are ranked as one of the major suppliers in the UAE,” Alamdar points out.
With the escalating pace of construction, LG Electronics has been paying more attention to the UAE market. At the same time, the company is trying to assess the new requirements of this market for air conditioners and related applications, match the quality of products with the requirements, and adopt a management style that will maintain high levels of quality in service.
“LG Electronics, one of the top air-conditioner manufacturers, has maintained a market leadership for five consecutive years. According to the Fuji-Keizai report – brought out by a leading market research company in Japan – LG sold more than 10 million units in 2004, taking about 20 per cent of the 52 million-unit world market,” he says.
Recently, the company has introduced a new product – MPS (Multi Power System), which offers a host of benefits to consultants, contractors and end users.
