Tuyap set to organise eighth furniture fair

Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organisation in association with the Omsiad Office Furniture Industrialists and Businessmen association of Turkey will organise the eighth furniture, decoration and accessories fair at the Tuyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center, Beylikduzu, Istanbul, Turkey from September 29 to October 2.

The fair – one of Turkey’s key events – will seek to exhibit the latest in high-tech office and home furniture accessories enriched with functional interior design and the aesthetic standards of the new millennium, says a spokesman for Tuyap.
According to the organisers of the event, last year’s fair concluded successfully and saw the participation of 228 leading companies or their representatives from 12 countries countries across the globe including: US, Germany, Bulgaria, France, Holland, UK, Spain, Italy, Canada, Portugal, Thailand and Turkey.
More than 15,950 visitors from over 30 countries – including US, Germany, Albania, Azerbaijan, UAE, Belgium, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, France, India, Iran, Israel, Spain, Italy, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, Libya, Lebanon, Macedonia, Malta, Egypt, Romania, Russia, Serbia Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Jordan and Greece – arrived at the fair to evaluate the latest technologies on show.
With the participation of leading company and company representatives, the International Istanbul Furniture Fair – to be held in a 20,000 sq m closed area – will host professionals interested in office furniture in halls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and home furniture in halls 7, 8, 9 and 10.
In the past, the fair has hosted professional visitors and professionals from various fields of activities that include: office furniture traders, interior design-decoration, construction industry, textiles-embroidery, hotels and other tourism facilities, governmental institutions, banking and insurance, educational institutions, machinery manufacturers, hospitals, promotion and printing industry, computer software, stationary, furniture accessories trading, lighting industry and rug businesses.
Special promotion programmes and activities that will be conducted through the period of the fair are expected to draw the attention of the whole industry.
Established in 1979, Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitons Organisation has served more than 112,000 domestic and foreign clients and organisations.
In the past 25 years, the company has organised 595 domestic fairs and exhibitons, working with 71 professional institutions and covering 50 different subjects.
