The Office Furniture Department of the UAE-based Juma Al Majid continues to maintain its position as a market leader in the regional office-furnishing sector through its association with strong principals and the launch of new product lines.

Established in 1975, the department stocks office furniture Brands from a network of more than 60 international suppliers, with a diverse range of office furniture, system furniture and accessories.
“The division imports products mainly from the US, UK, Italy, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia and also undertakes contracts for prestigious projects throughout the UAE,” says a spokesman. “Al Juma’s furniture department has also successfully executed many such assignments, against stiff competition from local and international bidders,” he adds.
Speaking on the company’s focus on delivering quality furnishing solutions, he says: “Within the Office Furniture Department, we have set up a design and projects section to provide necessary services on turnkey projects. At Al Juma, priority is given to comfort and efficiency and rigorous measures are adopted to ensure customer satisfaction. The department has a network of branches across the emirates and can meet the most demanding customer specifications,” he adds.
Branches of the Office Furniture Department have highly qualified sales support and technical staff.
Juma Al Majid’s Warehouse Department is staffed by 65 well-qualified and experienced personnel, including skilled supervisors and technicians to extend full support and services to all its valued customers, the spokesman points out.
Born of one man’s vision, enterprise and drive, the Juma Al Majid group of companies had a modest start in 1950. During the early years, the organisation was primarily involved in trading activities.
“Today, the group is one of the largest and oldest business entities in the UAE comprising over 40 companies and operations, including joint ventures. The flagship company, Juma Al Majid Establishment is active in consumer electronics, watches, office furniture, home furnishings, communication, tyres, firefighting, electro-mechanical sales and contracting,” he says.
