Ahmar and Wells, a Lebanese marketer and distributor for some of the finest products and services made available in the Middle East, takes its relationship with Enecon several notches higher through the launch of a distributorship programme.

Ahmar and Wells Trading has announced the launch of its Enecon master distributorship programme for the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.
Enecon, a world leader in polymer technologies and fluid treatment through applied magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD), has pioneered the development of unique products and solutions to help save the environment, says a company spokesman. “Being practical, Enecon – which stands for Energy Conservation – has placed an emphasis on not only protecting the environment but also product cost and benefits. In addition to doing its part to save the environment, it is able to save the customer time and money,” he adds.
He continues: “Enecon is committed to its customers not only by its strong product warranties, but also through its specialised training programmes, offering economical turnkey solutions and maintaining highly responsive and professional dealership support. Enecon staff has many combined years of practical experience in troubleshooting complex problems for some of the most demanding clients such as Nasa, the US Navy, Panama Canal, Army Corps of Engineers, nuclear and fossil fuel power stations and petrochemical plants, among others.
Commenting on the importance of water and its proper management, he adds: “Fluid flow systems are our specialty. Water is a vital resource and almost everything needs some kind of fluids in order to properly function - be it: industry, power plants and agriculture etc.
“Given the ever-increasing demand for clean water, waste and pollution is having a noticeably heavy impact on available water supplies including the degradation of our natural environment. Similarly, the loss of fluids related to other areas such as industry or power plants can severely affect the operational cost and efficiency of those entities. Besides causing the obvious damage, fluid-related problems can cause less obvious harm such as wasted energy, sometimes caused by poor heat exchange, unwanted heat loss or gain due to ineffective insulation or unwanted restrictions to fluid flow.
“Other negative environmental impacts may be seen in the form of solid waste. Governments and private companies would stand to benefit enormously if there was a proper system of reclaiming and restoring dumped assets such as pumps, valves or tanks that have been often discarded due to damage and wear.
“Enecon derives great satisfaction not only in solving problems for its clients but also in helping them identify and eliminate potential problems that could cause more severe damage and cost much more money to repair at a later stage,” he says.
“That is why Enecon and Ahmar and Wells Trading have a combined focus on providing a wide range of new and innovative solutions and unique products designed specifically to handle the repair and prevention needs related to fluid flow and many other systems, which are common to Mena.”
“A great deal of the technology used in solving these problems involve advanced polymers developed in the Enecon laboratories utilising the years of experience and vast information network receiving valuable feedback from worldwide distributors and customers.
“Each of our advanced polymer systems are designed with specific purposes in mind and are the result of years of research and development work that began with the first epoxy non-skid deck coatings approved by the US Navy and the first products approved to the Department of Defense Specifications for hull fairing/smoothing.
“Our polymer products are 100 per cent solids which mean that there are no solvents to evaporate into the atmosphere and no material waste, every effort is made to ensure that Enecon products are simple and safe to use. The company's range comprises more than 20 different specialised polymer systems designed to tackle a multitude of problem areas related to erosion, corrosion, cavitation, wear, and chemical attack. Additionally, we have products specially developed for concrete repairs, heat refraction, insulation protection, floor protection, structural bonding, weather and waterproofing,” he adds.
The spokesman continues: “Our fluid dynamic power cells also provide alternative methods to fluid treatment through applied MHD. Eneflow systems treat water without chemicals through the principles of physics not chemistry. Eneflow systems accelerate reagent diffusion, making chemicals such as disinfectants, biocides and corrosion inhibitors, more efficient and effective, thus typically reducing the amounts of those chemicals needed.
“The company has developed a unique magnetic circuit power cell design, which directs the useful flux into the fluid and minimises flux ‘leakage’. The powerful metallic alloy blend of nickel, cobalt, aluminum and iron chemically bonded to magneto ceramic ferrite produce an optimum residual induction in excess of 12,000 gauss – making the Eneflow fluid dynamic power cell the most powerful permanent magnetic circuit available for magneto-hydrodynamic treatment of fluids,” he concludes.
Enecon has strategically positioned itself with Ahmar and Wells Trading to serve its clients in the Mena region. New dealerships are currently being established in each of the territories. Further information is available from: www.AhmarWells.com.
