With the prestigious King Abdul Aziz Endowment complex in Makkah already in its order books, Jeddah-based Alarabi Decoration and Construction Company is highly optimistic of clinching further deals not only on this ongoing massive project but also on the other major developments that are being launched in this holy city.
“Construction activity is booming in Makkah and the scale of developments continues to be breathtaking,” says general manager, Renato Zimmerman. “Given our reputation for delivering the highest quality of gypsum decorative works, we are well poised to win a sizeable share of the orders that these developments will offer.”
Alarabi Decoration and Construction Company, meanwhile, is extending its scope and field of operations in the Gulf countries. Besides specialising in gypsum and painting works, the company also intends to offer all the finishing work, furniture and fittings.
Established in 1982, Alarabi undertakes decorative gypsum, special painting and various artistic decoration works.
“Staffed by a large number of engineers, carvers and specialists, Alarabi is not only the largest company for decorative gypsum and special artistic paint application in the Middle East, but also one of the largest in the world,” claims Zimmerman.
“Thanks to the professionalism of its management, the expertise of its artisans and craftsmen as well as the hard work of all its employees, the company has created a good reputation for itself in the entire Gulf region,” Renato continues.
The company has recently completed the highly prestigious phase II of the Hilton Hotel complex in Jeddah known as the Qasr Al Sharq (Royal Palace), various prestigious villas in Riyadh and Jeddah, Tanagra Le Boulevard in Jeddah as well as several royal palaces in Saudi Arabia.
In the kingdom, Alarabi is currently involved in much major gypsum and painting projects in Riyadh and Jeddah.
The company is also presently active in Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, UAE, being engaged in the supply and installation of gypsum suspended ceilings for major projects.
“These ongoing projects will open the door to further contracts in the mega construction projects that are being developed in these booming countries as well as the rest of the Gulf region.
It has also established a company in Kuwait, where it has already clinched a high volume of work.
