Aldar Properties has shortlisted four contractors to undertake dredging and reclamation work on its $14.7 billion Al Raha Beach development.

The shortlisted firms include: Van Oord Gulf, Dredging International, National Marine Dredging, and Boskalis Westminster Middle East.
Aldar’s chairman Ahmed Al Sayegh said his firm would complete the final selection in the next two weeks and announce the winner early next month.
Aldar’s project director Emad Muqattash said preparatory reclamation works had already started, enabling contractors to start work before the year-end.
