Haroon Company, a UAE-based distributor of architectural ironmongery since 1981, has partnered with some of the major projects in the region by supplying leading brands of architectural hardware from Europe and the US.
The company is currently looking to expand its leadership position in the market by introducing the latest, in terms of products and solutions.
“When Haroon Company was formed, there were mainly overseas ironmongers that offered architectural hardware in the market. Although the experience of these overseas companies was appreciated, they seldom understood the needs and methods of the countries to which they sold their products,” explains a company spokesperson. “There was a gap between selling to a foreign country and understanding its business environment; and Haroon Company has helped bridge that gap by providing a team of qualified personnel.
“Haroon Company’s sales staff have all received regular technical training at factories in Europe. They are kept abreast of the technical innovations in the field of architectural ironmongery, to enable them to identify problems and provide solutions instantly,” she says.
The spokesperson adds: “Our business success is simply a matter of commitment and customer orientation. Through strategically engineering the company’s facilities and services at Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, we have made it possible for clients to benefit largely in terms of time and money. Extensive warehousing facilities enable us to maintain a large stock of core products that can be delivered at a reasonable price, promptly and professionally.”
“In addition, our commitment to the client does not stop at delivery. The contracts management team ensures full and intelligent coordination with the builders and architects as the project reaches completion with full on-site liaison, computerised estimation and scheduling. The philosophy is that the job is never completed until the client is satisfied. This commitment has helped us to meet the highest quality and performance standards in countries within the Gulf.”
Hardware packages have been supplied on some of the most prestigious building projects in the country which include palaces, hotels, hospitals, shopping complexes, commercial/residential buildings, sports complexes, golf courses, schools, army and labour camps, private villas, and UAE’s diplomatic buildings overseas. The National Bank of Dubai headquarters, Capricorn Tower, Azure Building at Dubai Marina, the Springs villas (Phase II) by Emaar, Marina Terrace (Damac), seven towers at Dubai Marina Development by DCE, 13 towers at Jumeirah Beach Residence by Arabtec, the Jumeirah Island by Nakheel and the Dubai Metal Commodities Centre industrial building are a few of the projects on which hardware has been supplied by Haroon Company.
