Al Liwan Contracting to build Lakeside Residence

Al Manal Development has awarded Al Liwan Contracting the main contract, worth Dh230 million ($62.6 million), to build the Lakeside Residence in the Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai.
Construction works – shoring and piling works on The Lakeside Residence – will begin by the end of this month (April), and will be completed in April 2008.
The 35-storey residential tower will consist of 358 elegantly-designed freehold apartments incorporating advanced design features and interiors to its exceptional facilities and amenities. It offers a choice between 226 one-bedroom and 132 two-bedroom units with prices starting from Dh600,000.
Other features include an electronically-monitored security system, high-speed elevators, American-style kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, built-in wardrobes, high-end ceramic tiling, ambient lighting and a balcony in every apartment. There is also a large recreation centre with gymnasium as well as an infinity swimming pool. The building has a well-appointed lobby and basement parking.
The Lakeside Residence is the first of a series of property development that Al Manal Development is going to launch in the near future. Cadiz International and local architect Khatib & Alami are the designers.
