Liff Industrial of the UK has launched a new range of industrial reverse osmosis water filtration systems. Rocom is designed for industrial applications and is said to be a highly effective system for the removal of a large range of contaminants below 0.001 micron in size.
''Pure water is essential in many specialist businesses and industrial sectors, including hospitals, laboratories, printing industries, electronics manufacture, aerospace engineering, as well as restaurants and catering,'' says managing director David Walker.
''Rocom is the proven technology to provide the most effective form of water filtration available today, removing 98 per cent of all contaminants, making it ideal for such use,'' he adds.
Rocom contains a booster pump which automatically switches on if the incoming water pressure drops, in addition to a multi-stage filtration system.
The maximum production rate of water from the new reverse osmosis is offered by Rocom 200 which has a capacity to produce 966 litres per day, depending on prevailing water conditions. Other units include Rocom 600 (3,091 litres per day); and Rocom 1200 (5,794 litres per day).
Walker comments: ''Rocom is the most effective way of providing the purest water possible for many applications in industry today. The multi-stage filtration system installed throughout the Rocom range is efficient and proving very popular in a wide range of industries.''
