Raghadan’s new range of classy decorative paints have added a new dimension to the company’s existing extensive portfolio of finishes.

Leading Saudi-based paints manufacturer Raghadan has launched a new range of special-effect decorative paints, which it says will help meet the growing demand for contemporary patterns and techniques in the highly competitive decorative paints market segment.
These paints can create a variety of effects – velvet, pearl, silky touch, marble and wavy – to give a stunning facelift to an existing home or office in renovation projects or create striking interiors in new-build developments.
Established in 1974, the company has in the past three decades, grown to become the largest indigenous paint company in the region with a diverse range of decorative paints styles and techniques, through tie-ups with leading international paint companies such as Akzo Nobel of Europe, a leader in the international paints classification worldwide, Kansai Paint Company, a leader in Japan and among the top 10 paint firms internationally, and San Marco of Italy, a decorative paint company which is renowned for its special and marble effect paints.
Offering the velvet effect is Velvet, a decorative coating used for interior surfaces to create luxurious warm walls. Using a combination of special-effect additives, Velvet transforms plain walls into vibrant three-dimensional surfaces and is available in an attractive range of shades.
The pearly effect is created by Atoshinto, which gives walls an aesthetic finish that is inspired by the beauty of precious stones. It is available in a range of colours and distinguished by high performance and varied use in both interior and exterior applications.
Other special-effect decorative paints launched by Raghadan include:
• Fresco: A versatile, matt wavy-effect paint that can be applied using a variety of tools to transform the most plain walls with attractive warm finishes having varying degrees of depth. Fresco is easy to apply and allows the user to create innovative patterns and effects;
• Raghadan Glaze: A high-performance, slow-drying oil glaze, specially designed for interior applications to obtain marbling, glazed, colour-washed and other special aesthetic effects;
• Stucco Veneziano: A decorative mineral wall coating, which renders a classic marble finish for interiors;
• Marmorino: A heavy-duty decorative paint which also creates a marble effect but has been specially formulated for exteriors, as it offers resistance against all weather conditions;
• Aquasil: A decorative classic paint from San Marco, which available in matt and pearl finish. It is also durable and easily washable, being highly resistant to water and severe climatic conditions. This paint is suitable for both exteriors and interiors of buildings.
• Ambiance: This decorative paint, which offer a silky-touch effect, is a product of Akzo Nobel (Levis) and is applied by sponge or special rollers to create customised design with a silky finish. It is available in matt, pearl, metallic, and suede colours;
• Gold coating (Levis Gold): The product is used as a gold-plating decorative finishing coat for a variety of surfaces such as gypsum, metal, and plastered cement;
• Wood varnish finish (Linitop): This range comprises wood varnishes for interiors and exteriors on surfaces such as gypsum ceilings, cornices and columns to create an authentic wood-effect finish.
Raghadan’s newly launched range of decorative paints has recently been applied on the private residence of Mustafa Ibrahim Al Ikrmawi, the chairman of Raghadan Group of Companies.
The company’s project portfolio over the years includes numerous major public and private sector projects in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, including royal palaces, private villas, commercial complexes, hotels and hospitals. among others.
