Germany’s ties with the Middle East’s construction industry are set to reach greater heights as the world’s biggest construction show gets under way in Munich next month.
This year’s bauma – the 28th in the series of international trade fairs for construction machinery, building material and mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment – is set to be the biggest ever with an extra 30,000 sq m of exhibition space has been added compared to the 2004 event.
Over an exhibition space of approximately 2,700 sq m at bauma 2007, leading German construction equipment manufacturer Putzmeister will be promoting numerous innovations for conveying concrete, mortar and high-density solids, as well as for high-pressure water technology.
The Weinig Group, a leading German specialist in wood processing machinery, now offers the Middle East furniture and woodworking industry a new range of materials handling machinery that processes hardwoods focusing on precision, saving waste and quick changeover technology- all of which allows competitive pricing.
The profile machining centre SBZ 140 from Germany’s Elumatec, one of the leading manufacturers of fabrication equipment for aluminum and vinyl profiles, is increasingly being sought after in the building industry where the pressure is on to deliver on time and cut costs without sacrificing on quality.
The Wirtgen Group, one of Germany’s fastest-growing companies, with its renowned Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann brands, will exhibit the latest technologies in its two lines of business – road and mineral technologies – on two stands at bauma 2007.
