At bauma, Bomag will be displaying for the first time its BW 177DH-3 roller with DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System). With the aid of satellite navigation, the position of the roller can be determined to the nearest 5 cm, the German firm says.

German construction equipment company Elba has lined up a host of innovations and technical highlights at bauma 2001. These include the newly-designed concrete mixing plant Elba Beton Center EBC. The EBC series, which replaces the Mixcenter series EMC, consists of compact modules with standard transport measurements.
