KRAH Bahrain, a division of Haji Hassan Group of Bahrain, is set to complete delivery this month (August) on one of the most prestigious projects it has secured since it was set up less than two years ago.






LEADING Saudi companies have joined hands with a German veteran in the steel pipes business to launch a new SR660-million ($176 million) facility for the production of longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) steel pipes in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.






MAJOR developments are under way at Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipe Company (SVCP), which is set to ramp up its total capacity by 10 per cent shortly as well as boost its product portfolio with the acquisition of a GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and concrete pipe factories in Rabigh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia.






FOLLOWING the recent expansion of its Riyadh production facility, T Nagadi Preformed Concrete Factory is set to launch production at new lines to produce pipes at its Yanbu factory. The company is setting up three units to make pipes in diameters ranging from 300 mm to 3,600 mm in Yanbu.






PVC (polyvinyl chloride) extrusion welders from Leister Technologies have been successfully used in the region to tackle the challenge posed by PVC welding, says BMC Gulf Trading and Contracting, the exclusive sales and service partner in the Middle East for the Swiss manufacturer.
