Project Qatar 2015, the 12th international construction technology and building materials exhibition, successfully concluded last month (May 4 to 7) with a footfall of 32,000 visitors and 830 business-to-business (B2B) meetings.






Fischer, a specialist in fixings and installation systems, said its key product range proved a huge draw at this year’s edition of Project Qatar which was held last month (May 4 to 7) in Doha, Qatar.






The trio of trade shows – popularly known as ‘3Gs’ – comprising the gulfBID, gulfInteriors and the Gulf Property Show concluded last month (May 12 to 15) in Bahrain, with organisers, exhibitors and visitors hailing them as a success.

The Saudi Building & Interiors Exhibition (sbie) 2015 ended on a successful note in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, attracting over 20,000 visitors, with companies sealing deals worth more than SR70 million ($18.7 million).






The roadmap for skyscraper development in Dubai was charted out successfully at the second annual Smart Skyscrapers Summit that concluded in the UAE emirate last month (May 11 and 12). The summit was held under the patronage of the Dubai Municipality and was produced by Expotrade, a global conference and event organiser.






ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International held its first-ever cement conference and workshop in Kuwait City, which was attended by more than 250 people from ministries and companies each day over the course of the two-day event.
