The Safety Design in Buildings Conference held in Bahrain has underlined the importance of fire control regulations and safe design in buildings in reducing damage to property and loss of lives.

The 13th annual Power-Gen Middle East Conference and Exhibition (PGME) will focus on renewables when it gets under way in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in October (4 to 6). The event, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, will be inaugurated by Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE’s Minister of Energy.

The innovative trends in streetlighting and the benefits to the society will be highlighted at the upcoming Middle East Smart Lighting and Energy Summit 2015 in the UAE.

Two new trade shows – one related to stone products and the other to heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) – will make their debut in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, next year.
