Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) is set to float the final tender  this month (February) for a  KD150-million ($493 million) gas pipeline planned mainly for transportation of natural gas from North Kuwait to its refinery in Mina Ahmadi, said a report.

Dredging and reclamation work on a new BD94-million ($248 million) bridge in Bahrain linking Muharraq and Manama has started. The 550-m bridge, which is the fourth of its kind between the two cities, is an extension of the 7.8-km-long North Muharraq Highway project, which also includes the 4.2-km-long Muharraq Ring Road.






Global technology giant Siemens said it has secured a contract from the Oman government for the supply of gas and steam turbines, long-term power generation services and digital solutions at its Duqm integrated power and water project (DIPWP). The total order volume of the contract is around €200 million ($228.
