Contractors

To leading Chinese contractors – China National Chemical Engineering Group Company (CNCEC)  and CNTC – have clinched key contracts for mega projects in the UAE last month.






Bombardier Transportation, Orascom Construction and Arab Contractors have signed an agreement with National Authority for Tunnels in Cairo to design and build two new monorail lines in Egypt.  On completion of the construction phase, the consortium will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of both lines for 30 years.






A consortium of L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE) and EMAS AMC  (a Subsea7 company) has been awarded a large (valued at between $350 million and $700 million) engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI)  project consisting of 28 offshore jackets by Saudi Aramco.
