Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the opening of the last two phases of roads leading to Expo 2020 site.

Shanghai Electric Group has announced that it is to join the Expo 2020 Dubai as the official partner of the China Pavilion, scheduled to open on October 20.  “We are proud to be part of the Expo 2020 Dubai. It is the fourth time for Shanghai Electric to join the World Expo.

Finland has celebrated the topping out of the country’s sustainable pavilion – Snow Cape – at the Expo 2020 Dubai site located within the Mobility District. The concept, design, planning and execution work have been undertaken by Helsinki-based architectural firm JKMM Architects and Swiss construction specialist Expomobilia.

Kuwait’s country pavilion will be a star attraction at the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai with a sophisticated exterior design inspired by the Kuwaiti local environment expressed by sand dunes and Kuwait’s vision for sustainability,  said a key official. Estimated at 4,550 sq m, it will be one of the largest pavilions at the Expo site.

The three spectacular entry portals that will welcome millions of visitors from around the world to Expo 2020 Dubai have been revealed.

Construction work is under way on Switzerland’s Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion, Reflections, which has been designed by Zurich-based architects OOS in collaboration with Bellprat Partner and Lorenz Eugster.

UAE-based Enoc Group said that the construction of its Ghaf-tree inspired service station located at the Expo 2020 Dubai site has reached an impressive 40 per cent completion.

Emirates District Cooling (Emicool), a leading district cooling service provider in the region and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, said work is progressing well on the district cooling plant at the Expo 2020 site.
