Abu Dhabi - UAE

Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, is ‘the most liveable city’ in the Arab world, but its ambition goes beyond that – to become the world’s best. The emirate is spending a great amount of money and efforts in this direction, launching various projects aimed at enhancing the lives of residents.

Abu Dhabi’s newest exciting waterfront destination, Al Qana, is on track to see construction completion by the end of this year, with some Dh1 billion ($272 million) having already been invested so far in creating this much-awaited social dining, entertainment and wellness space.

In line with its mission to “create soulful places that enrich people’s lives”, Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer Imkan is engaged in  a number of one-of-their-kind community developments and mixed-use projects that aim to redefine the real estate landscape and set new standards for community living.

Early infrastructure is well under way to create a 400-hectare low-density development in a pristine natural environment on an island located between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island – a 15 minutes’ drive from downtown Abu Dhabi.

With a portfolio of prominent projects in its construction portfolio, the Abu Dhabi office of cranes and access equipment supplier Johnson Arabia is now looking at further expansion in the oil and gas sector.
