Work has started on the second and final phase of the construction of the passenger terminal at the Bahrain International Airport. The project will see the eastern section of the current terminal demolished to make way for the western part of the new facility, which is being built adjacent, reported the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).






Oman-based Sohar Asphalt has signed up China Chemical Hualu Engineering Company for the construction of the sultanate’s first bitumen refinery at Sohar Industrial Port, which is being set up at an investment of over $400 million, reported Oman Observer.
