Expo Countdown

Bahrain Antiquities and Culture Authority (BACA) has announced steady progress on its Dubai Expo 2020 country pavilion with the construction work due to be completed this month (January).






New Zealand has announced that 95 per cent of the construction work has been completed on its country pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai with the final touches being given on the project, including its feature façade. New Zealand was one of the first countries to break ground on the Expo 2020 site in May 2019.






The site of Nissan venue at the Expo 2020’s Mobility Pavilion was handed over last month officially at a ceremony attended by representatives from Nissan and Expo 2020 Dubai. Anticipated to complete by the end of June 2021, the venue will serve as a focal point throughout the Expo for conversations on the future of mobility.






Philippines has announced that 87 per cent of the construction work had been completed on its country pavilion – Bangkóta – at Expo 2020 Dubai and was on track for handover in March this year.






Work on the shell and core of Malaysia’s pavilion for the Dubai Expo 2020 was completed at the end of last year. The interior fit-out, technology installation and content production work will commence soon.
