It is five years almost to the day since the ground was broken to host the region’s first World Expo.  Since then, a new exhibition city has been created boasting awe-inspiring structures designed by some of the best architects in the world. Many of these have been built by the UAE’s own talent pool in the construction industry.

UAE: Designed by Spanish Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava in the shape of a falcon in flight, the UAE pavilion will tell the history of the nation as a connected global hub, and the vision of its leaders to cre-ate a peaceful and progressive society with ambitious plans for the future.

Expo 2020 Dubai has teamed up with the United Nations to bring together the change-makers on a single platform in a  bid to galvanise action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their latest virtual thematic programme, Expo Talks: Global Goals.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and the World Green Economy Organisation (WGEO) will be organising the seventh World Green Economy Summit (WGES) on October 6 and 7 at the Expo 2020 Dubai.

Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (#GMIS2021) will host its fourth edition from November 22 to 27 alongside Expo Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai.
