Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) in collaboration with Musanada has announced the launch of its new AED1.26-billion ($344 million) Al Mughira Housing Complex featuring a total of 410 villas in Al Dhafra region.






Noor Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest stand-alone operational solar photovoltaic (PV) plant located in Abu Dhabi’s Sweihan region, has announced the successful completion of its second year of commercial operations.






Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is set to commission the world’s tallest concentrated solar power (CSP) tower located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, in September.Standing tall at 262.44 m, the tower has a capacity of 100 MW in addition to 600 MW from a parabolic trough complex.

Global technology major Siemens Energy, in collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and Expo 2020 Dubai, has announced the opening of the first industrial-scale, solar-driven green hydrogen facility in the Middle East and North Africa region.






UAE-based Arkan Building Materials Company has received an offer from Abu Dhabi’s Senaat, a part of state-owned holding company ADQ, proposing a merger with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Emirates Steel.






Work has been completed on the first two phases of the Mohamed bin Zayed City 1 residential development in Ajman being implemented under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme at a cost of AED1.1 billion ($300 million). The 898-unit residential project, to be implemented in four phases, is likely to be ready for handover by the second quarter of 2022.






Leading Dubai contractor Khansaheb said its interiors unit has been awarded a 5,500-sq-m high-end fit-out contract for The Link, one of the world’s longest cantilevered buildings at One Za’abeel, a mixed-use luxury project being developed by Ithraa Dubai.






Abu Dhabi authorities said the upgradation work on the E15 Highway, that links Ghayathi in the emirate’s Al Dhafra Region to Al Ruwais and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road (E11), is nearly 85 per cent complete and the project is expected to be ready this November.
