Global engineering giant WSP said its Middle East services unit has been signed up by The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) to provide sustainability services for its visionary ‘Coral Bloom’ resorts at Shurayrah Island on the kingdom’s west coast.






Leading Saudi real estate developer Dar Al Arkan has collaborated with Construction of Buildings on Demand (Cobod), a Danish robot 3D construction printer company, to offer its innovative solutions for the first time in the kingdom, thus marking a regional first for Cobod’s 3D construction printing (3DCP) technology.






Saudi-based Red Sea International Company said it has secured a SR52.9-million ($14.1 million) contract from the Royal Commission of AlUla to design and build a turnkey housing complex at its upcoming cultural destination in the kingdom’s northwest region of AlUla.






Gulf Development International (GDI), a UK-based full-scale developer, is set to build one of the largest volumetric modular assembly plants in the world within Saudi Arabia’s $500-billion city Neom. The $1-billion project is expected to come up on a 1.4-million-sq-m site within the futuristic city, said its top official.






GE Renewable Energy said its Grid Solutions unit has won a major contract from Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Company to build a turnkey substation that will power the Yanbu-4 independent water producer (IWP) plant.  This is the first integrated, seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) project in the kingdom that uses clean energy.






Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) said it has completed utilities commissioning on a $900-million ammonia plant set up in Ras Al Khair Industrial City. The ammonia plant is the first project in the $6.






Naqel Express, Saudi Arabia’s leading express logistics and supply chain company with the largest seamless network, has officially opened its gateway facilities at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) as well as its new Pharma and Cold Chain warehouse facilities in Jeddah.






Losberger De Boer, a leading supplier of temporary and permanent buildings for events, commercial and industrial applications, has completed the work on the record-breaking Jeddah Superdome venue, with the dome’s frame handed over three days ahead of schedule.
