India Pavilion has been recognised as one of the most iconic from among the 190 country pavilions at the Expo 2020 Dubai by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a distinguished 164-year-old international consortium of architects.

Baharash Bagherian, the former design director of the UAE-based Diamond Developers, has set up his new venture, URB, a boutique planning and design consultancy at Dubai Design District. The new company aims to design the next generation of net-zero sustainable cities. Bagherian had led the designs of several sustainable cities across the globe.

CallisonRTKL (CRTKL), a global consultancy specialised in architecture, design and technology,  says it has created an outdoor retail destination – not typically seen in Saudi Arabia due to its climate – when designing the Riyadh Front in the heart of the kingdom’s capital.
