Sharjah City Centre
THE opening of a new Dh100 million ($27.25 million) shopping centre in Sharjah marks the entry of Majid Al Futtaim Developments, developers of the well-known Deira City Centre in Dubai, into the UAE emirate. The 42,000 sq m mall, which was completed on a fast track in the space of 18 months, was opened in late September.
Desert Roofing was responsible for waterproofing all the concrete roofs, the sloped parapet and wet areas of the Sharjah City Centre, involving a total area of 8,000 sq m.
