Dubai Metro has unveiled its new Blue Line project, a 30-km route that will strategically link key areas of the emirate through 14 stations. The Blue Line represents a significant advancement as the first metro route crossing Dubai Creek through a 1,300-m viaduct. The route will run 15.5 km underground and 14.5 km above ground.






Emirates Building Systems (EBS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, and one of the leading manufacturers of steel structures in the Middle East, has been awarded a contract to deliver two aircraft hangars at Abu Dhabi International Airport.






A budget of AED65 billion ($17.7 billion) has been approved for new projects in Abu Dhabi by HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The budget, approved at a meeting of the Executive Council, will cover 142 new capital projects in the emirate.
