Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) has launched a new internal initiative to improve communication between staff members and top level management.
It involves a random selection of employees being invited to have lunch with chief executive Khalil Al Meer on a monthly basis as part of the innovative drive, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The luncheon is the brainchild of the human resources department of KHCB and stems from its duty to promote the free expressions of speech and personal opinion among the bank's employees.
Al Meer said this series of monthly luncheons herald a new era for KHCB, one that promotes fully fledged transparency and a feeling of homogeneity among our employees.
“This endeavour not only exemplifies our commitment towards providing a free environment that induces increased efficiency and work rate but also, ultimately results in KHCB offering the most innovative and practical products and customer oriented and interactive services that the banking and finance industry in Bahrain will have on avail,” he said.
