Eazy Financial Services (Eazy), an ancillary service provider that is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with Sadad Electronic Payment System, at the Eazy headquarters in Manama. 

 

The deal comes in line with their efforts to enable eazyNet customers to benefit from using fingerprint authentication to complete payments for all purchases, services and invoices available on Sadad self-service kiosks, said a statement from the firm. 

 

This feature will be available at the end of the third quarter of 2019, it added.

 

"This comes in line with our efforts to provide the safest and most advanced technologies to elevate the banking services available to citizens and residents in Bahrain," remarked Nayef Tawfiq Al Alawi, the CEO and board member at Eazy Financial Services, after signing the deal with Dr Mohamed Rifat Al Kashif, a board member of Sadad Bahrain in the presence of other members of the board and executive team from both companies.

 

The eazyNet aims to broaden the horizons of the world of FinTech on a local and regional level," stated Al Alawi.

 

"The provision 1,250 electronic platforms and 300 Points of Sale (PoS) provide our customers with an easy, quick and secure method of payment through our network, enabling us to launch innovative products that facilitate the process of conducting various banking transactions for customers," he added

 

Dr Al Kashif said: "We are extremely excited to roll out this new phase in implementing secure payment mechanisms through Sadad."

 

"This eliminates the need for cash, cards or smartphones enabling users to perform transactions simply through fingerprint authentication," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
