UAE-based Al Ansari Exchange, a foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, has announced that its mobile app is now available for download on Huawei’s app store - the AppGallery.

Al Ansari Exchange said with this move, it has become the first exchange house in the Middle East to make its mobile app accessible on Huawei’s app distribution platform.

Mohammad Bitar, deputy general manager, said: “In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, it is important to offer a smart mobile app that provides tech-savvy customers with a seamless, faster, and safer channel to send money to their loved ones instantly.”

“Making our app available on Huawei’s AppGallery is a testament to our commitment to help fast track digital transformation efforts in order to better serve our customers with what they need, anywhere and at any time,” he said.

“This latest move forms part of our ongoing initiatives to deliver innovative solutions and premium services to ensure customer satisfaction, which in turn takes their experience to the next level and further consolidates our leadership in the field of remittances and money exchange,” he added.

Since its global launch in April 2018, Huawei AppGallery has been serving more than 390 million global monthly active users in more than 170 countries and regions.

The accumulated downloads have reached 180 billion within a year and the number of overseas top apps released on Huawei AppGallery is increasing as more developers join the HMS Ecosystem.
    
Adam Xiao, managing director of Middle East and North Africa (Mena) Mobile Services, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said: “We are glad to cooperate with Al Ansari Exchange to build a better open ecosystem. Having them on Huawei AppGallery is just the first step toward more convenient money transfer services for all Huawei smartphone users.”

“We will work together to integrate HMS Core, access HAG, and coordinate with Huawei Pay in order to deliver a more seamless intelligent experience for Huawei users and even Huawei watch users in the coming future,” he added.

Al Ansari Exchange’s mobile app continues to dominate both Apple Store and Google Play Store, accounting for an increase in the number of money transfer transactions of more than 200 per cent comparing to the first quarter of this year.

This figure is expected to surge further now that it has already been made available on Huawei’s AppGallery, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
