Al Ansari Exchange announces fee waiver on India Covid donations

DUBAI, May 1, 2021

Al Ansari Exchange, a UAE-based foreign exchange and money transfer company, has announced its decision to waive the fees, across all its branches, for donations transferred to India’s PM Cares Fund, a dedicated fund formed to strengthen the country's fight against Covid-19.

The announcement was made as part of Al Ansari Exchange’s endeavours to stand in solidarity with the Indian people, as the country struggles with the ravaging coronavirus crisis.

CEO Rashed Al Ansari said: "We are devastated to witness the worsening of the pandemic in India, but it is important for all our Indian colleagues and friends to know that they are not alone during this critical moment."

"To do our part and show our support, we have decided to waive remittance fees for all cash donations transferred to PM Cares. We are confident that India will conquer COVID-19 soon and emerge even stronger than before," he added.
