BBK Group to form new tech innovation company

Bahrain-based BBK Group has approved the formation of a technology innovation company that would be led by the Group’s fully owned subsidiaries CrediMax and Invita, to support its digital transformation journey.
The announcement came following the recent BBK Board meeting held on the 27th of July, 2021, where the decision to go ahead with this initiative was approved.
The establishment of the new entity, after obtaining all required regulatory approvals and licenses, will focus on exploring, creating, and delivering digital added value services supporting the digital transformation for the group and other companies.
“We, at CrediMax are thrilled to be founding this new technology innovation company with our sister company Invita, joining our expertise as market leaders, each, in its own domain; CrediMax, being the first and leading Credit Card Issuer and Acquirer in the Kingdom of Bahrain, providing high quality products and services for its Cardholders and Merchants and Invita, the Gulf's leading provider of innovative Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Digital Transformation Solutions and the largest private multilingual contact centre,” said CrediMax Chief Executive Ahmed A Seyadi.
“The team will be focusing on exploring ground breaking innovative digital solutions that would simplify, add value and transform user experiences in collaboration with our partners. As we move forward in a world of increasing digitization and complexity, we align our aspirations with the Kingdom’s Economic Vision 2030as well as the Central Bank efforts to expedite digitization.”
