Ebdaa Microfinance focuses on projects led or run by females as the world is celebrating International Women's Day in honour of the varied contributions of women throughout the world.

 

The firm has a special financing product called ‘Saydaty’ dedicated to women who produce at home to support and develop their projects, said Dr Khalid Al Ghazzawi, CEO of Ebdaa Microfinance Company.

 

He confirmed the company’s resolve on financing economic projects that take environmental and climate considerations into account, as part of Bahrain's efforts to meet the requirements of sustainable development, and following the CBB’s directives in activating the financial sector's contribution to national efforts in adopting best environmental practices.

 

"Ebdaa Microfinance as one of the branches of Arab Gulf Programme for Development (Agfund) is keen to participate in the efforts aimed at addressing climate change and reducing its negative effects on all segments of society, including women. It also considers the extent to which the loan applicant takes into account the environment aspect before approving the grant of the loan,” said Dr Al Ghazzawi. 

 

Dr Al Ghazzawi urged all owners of micro-enterprises in green sectors such as agriculture, sustainable energy, waste recycling, and others to apply for easy financing from Ebdaa Company and take advantage of the benefits offered to this type of project, such as quick loan approval and flexible payment terms.-- TradeArabia News Service
